This show was designed to overcome a common misconception of the University being a "party school". Once completed, it was sent to the homes of National Merit Scholars, who applied in record numbers the following year.

MORE CAMPUS, PEOPLE AND BUILDING SHOTS. ANNCR: This is a University unlike any in the country, for it offers the best of both worlds. It offers a serene campus setting - over 550 acres of parks, fountains, sculptures, traditional and modern architecture and lush, wide open grounds. Yet it's only a few miles from the heart of the nation's fourth largest city.
VARIOUS CLASSROOMS & LABS It offers the same caliber faculty as large private universities - world-renowned scientists and award-winning writers, yet, it is public, and very affordable, even for out-of-state students.
SPORTS SHOTS It is a University with a nationally ranked athletic program that has produced Olympic gold medalists.

Over the last several years, I've spoken to thousands of students, who, just like yourself, are making that important choice about their future. I'm convinced that if you look at other schools, and compare educational opportunities, you'll find we have program like none other.
